Description

Non Return Valve PVC 2 inch Solvent to Solvent Pond pipe fitting 2 BAR PRESSURE
Double Union PVC Non Return Valve 2 inch Designed to prevent the back-flow of water. Useful when pumping to filter equipment above water level, preventing filters from overflowing. Solvent to Solvent 2 Bar Imperial Pressure.
These PVC one way valves can be fitted on the external side of your pump.
Should your power fail the valve will hold water in the inlet pipe ready for the pump to prime itself once power is restored.
Without a foot valve pumps can run dry and scavenge for water. This can lead to a pump over-heating and causing permanent damage to the pump.
These PVC valves are quite heavy so you may require pipe clips to secure pipe work to a wall especially if using a flexi hose.
